Hello, I’m Stephanie Kaplan, an advocate with experience as a special education paralegal and a parent of a special needs child in New York City. I am passionate about helping parents navigate the IEP process in New York City Public Schools to get the best support for their children. My comprehensive approach takes parents from initial evaluations and diagnosis to creating an IEP, appropriate classroom placement, and beyond. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from Queens College, CUNY, and have worked as a substitute teacher and tutor in New York City Public Schools.
